About our organization

Founded during the Spring of 1995, the Flagstaff Light Opera
Company (FLOC) is a non-profit corporation whose sole
purpose is to develop community-based musical theater and
light opera productions in northern Arizona. The FLOC has
presented two major productions and several fundraising
events per year since the company’s inception. As always,
the company looks forward to input from the local community
in helping to decide its repertoire, and deeply appreciates the
tremendous support it has received from the community and
eagerly looks forward to future collaborations.
Our philosophy:

In the words of Gilbert’s character, Jack Point, from
"The Yeoman of the Guard" . . .

"My masters, I pray you bear with us, and we will satisfy you,
for we are merry folk who would make all merry as ourselves.

For, look you, there is humour in all things, and the truest
philosophy is that which teaches us to find it and make the
most of it."
